Hello Asterisk Users and those with an Interest in VoIP Tech,
The TwinCities Asterisk Users Group will be meeting at a newer location, Same as last months new location.
We'll discuss the progress of our 160 extension installation of Asterisk from last month. We'll also hear news from Jason's installation of Call Weaver to support Fax over IP with the t.38 extensions and Justin will tell us a little about programming for the MicroBrowser accessible from the Polycom phones. We'll see if we can't get Shane to show us 5 minutes of his shell scripting skills. I've had many requests to include a minute or three on basic Unix/Linux skills for those new to this. Shell scripts saved us an hour of editing last month to resync our asterisk sip secrets with our Polycom configuration files. Just about 2 miles away the MinneBar is taking place. Check that out at http://barcamp.org/MinneBar. It's possible a large group will attend after our meeting.
Jimmy John's is just a block away or we can order pizza as usual. The meeting will begin at 11:30am on Saturday.
There is a large parking lot in the rear of the building. Please note, the doors at the front of the property are not available for use, you must enter on the South side of the building (next to the parking area). Building is on the corner of Raymond Ave and University Ave.
The address is 2356 University Ave West. Saint Paul Minnesota, 55114. We will meet in suite 401.
Hope you can make it!
-Eric Osterberg
